Mid West Helicopters (NZ) Ltd is a well established helicopter company servicing the needs of a variety of clients and customers right across New Zealand. Our roots lie deep within the agricultural sector, providing services for rural New Zealand for decades, but our operations extend to almost anything a helicopter can do. We aim to be industry leaders in everything we do, striving for excellence in safety, workmanship and company culture.

From our head office in Wanganui, Mid West Helicopters (NZ) Lts service all of New Zealand, but we have a particularly strong presence across the Lower and Central North Island. In latter years, we began the NZ Helicopter Training Academy (NZHTA) which operates from our Wanganui and Canterbury bases. NZHTA is fast becoming recognised as a leading pilot training organisation for quality of pilots we produce and the emphasis on real-world training that makes our students highly sought after in the industry.

Our emphasis on safety is regularly applauded by CAA during routine audits and the culture within our organisation is very important to us. We operate eleven helicopters and are well placed to cater better for jobs of all sizes and periods of high demand.
